Hector the Dolphin

If I were more technically savvy, you would be able to see that this is actually a movie of a dolphin in action. This is from a boat ride in the Marlborough Sounds at the top of the South Island. We saw fur seals, penguins, lots of birds and more dolphins. I've now seen the three main species in NZ -- Bottlenose, Dusky, and these Hector dolphins. Hectors are the smallest, they travel in smaller pods and don't generally jump as much as the others, but we got them on a good day.
